Usually we are just normal children in a normal school with a normal teacher.............
Until Hallowe'en comes...................
We are learning how to write procedures in our class.
Last week we made toast.
This week we made delicious smores to help us write a recipe.
End of year is always a very bust time for both teachers and students. It seemed to be busier than ever this year with so much going on. Here are some of the things that happened in our class:
We displayed our 'Recycled Materials' projects
We had our Sports Day in glorious sunshine!
Willy Wonka sent a chocolate bar to the lucky child who wrote the best letter to him
We had a French Themed 'Au Revoir' party for Mahé and Pierre who are heading to France for the next school year.
Check out all the pictures below.
Our school is 80 years old this year, We had a big celebration to mark the special occasion.
Our new wall and new school crest were both unveiled.
Over 400 people came to the big birthday party and the sun stayed out for a very fun and enjoyable day.
We had great fun in class looking at static electricity. We discovered that there is even static electricity in our bodies by using balloons and hair combs.
Many of our class have pets and we love to look after them. Birr Castle had a lovely dog show for all pet lovers and some of our class made the trip with their furry little friends.
Teacher even brought down his own dog to show that even really old people can love their dogs too!
Ali, Ella and Aoibhinn were proud to display their winners rosettes!
We had lots of snow recently thanks to the Beast From the East but we kept nice and warm in our class by looking at heat and temperature during science.
Here are some pictures from the experiments we carried out.
